Divas Select Smart With First Pick The Detroit Divas selected right fielder Amy Smart of Topanga Canyon, CA with the 3rd pick of the first round of the inaugural Venus Baseball League draft. The 30 year old left handed power hitter will anchor the Diva line-up. "Smart just absolutely crushes the ball during every at bat," said Manager Angie Dickinson. "Pitchers cannot make any mistakes when she is hitting, or she will make them pay."
