Emeralds Select Bynes With First Pick The Seattle Emeralds selected pitcher Amanda Bynes of Thousand Oaks, CA with the 11th pick of the first round of the inaugural Venus Baseball League draft. The 18 year old right hander will be the future anchor of the Emerald rotation. "She is very talented and will become a dominant pitcher in the VBL," said Manager Geena Davis.
