Sirens Select Sorvino With First Pick The Sacramento Sirens selected pitcher Mira Sorvino of Tenafly, NJ with their first pick (15th overall) of the inaugural Venus Baseball League draft. The 37 year old right hander will anchor the Sirens rotation. "The thing we like most about Sorvino is her ability to eat up a lot of innings," said Manager Bette Mider, "she also possesses three strong pitches in her fastball, slider, and change up."
