Wildcats Select Wrobel With First Pick The Texas Wildcats selected P Magdalena Wrobel of Poland with the 7th pick of the first round of the inaugural Venus Baseball League draft. The 30 year old right hander has a nasty splitfinger that baffles hitters. "Wrobel can absolutely shut hitters down when she is on," said Manager Morgan Fairchild. "She can dominate and frustrate batters."
